dc.description.abstract 2 | P a g e ABSTRACT Every organization is going through different issues; in this thesis I have discussed few of the major issues organizations might be facing which are considered as a taboo still in this era of rapid growth towards the adaption of western culture. This study is about the impact of stereotyping and harassment on employees of private sector organizations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The main idea and purpose of this study is to cater the problems and issues faced by the employees working in different private sector organizations and how these issues are having an impact on their career advancement. Sexual harassment and gender stereotyping are further focused in this study as still people hinder to talk about these issues even though these issues have over taken half of our society badly. Quantitative research has been done in this research by distributing 200 questionnaires in different private sector organizations of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The scale used in the questionnaires is Likert scale, all the results are deducted through using SPSS software. The relationships are being discussed between the three variables. The relationship between stereotyping and the career advancement and the relation between harassment and career advancement. In this study the results show that, the relation between both independent and the dependent variable is negative which means independent and dependent variables are inter linked with each other and affecting each other in some way. en_US
