dc.description.abstract The relationship between supply chain management practices and organizational performance of cement Firms in Pakistan is discussed in this study. The two main objectives of this study are to decide the degree to which the SCM practices are implemented in cement sector of Pakistan and to set up the impact Supply Chain Management practices on the organizational performance on cement sector of Pakistan. Census study survey was adopted to carry out the research design. 6 cement companies of Islamabad/Rawalpindi were studied in this research. From all the supply chain and operational managers and their assistants the data was gathered using questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and regression model was used to analyze the data by using the SPSS Software. The study found that at greater extent supply chain management practices have been adopted by many of the cement companies as this helps in upgraded benefit conveyance, enhanced basic leadership improved general cost diminishment and constant conveyance of products and enterprises. The study recommended to adopt supply chain management practices in order to enhance the performance of the organization. Hence the findings of this study are limited and furthermore studies can be conducted en_US
