dc.description.abstract Culture may have a huge influence on the performance of all organizations worldwide. This is a practice that cannot just be assumed as it has both positive and negative effects as far as performance is concerned. It is more serious when it comes to banking sector organizations of Pakistan. The main focus of the study was the banking organization culture in Pakistan. The specific objectives of the study were to establish the link among organizational culture and employee performance with mediating effect of employee commitment in banking sector of Pakistan. To assess the level of Bureaucratic culture and performance and employee commitment in banking organizations, to explore the effect of stress on performance in banking organizations, to assess the level of bureaucratic culture to explore reward system and its influence on overall performance and employee commitment in banking organizations in Pakistan, and finally to identify the influence of training on performance in banking organizations. The research design adopted for this study was a descriptive survey in which the research seeks to collect data from a target population of employees working in banking sector of Pakistan especially from Islamabad and Rawalpindi sector , using questionnaires to determine the correlation between organization culture and employee performance. A sample size of 160 was taken from employees in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Data was analyzed through quantitatively use of statistical package for social scientists (SPSS). The study concluded that organization culture had a great influence on employee performance and commitment and it is prove from analysis that when the organization have the reward system then more employee be attracted and the employee performance and commitment will be increased, and it is also prove in the analysis most of the employee is not happy from bureaucratic culture and stress in the organization. The banking sector work on these variables then the employee performance and commitment will be more and the employee will be loyal to their respective organization. en_US
