Abstract:
The objective of the study was that how External factors affect the supply chain responsiveness in Telecom sector of Pakistan. The processes which are involved in changing crude materials into the completed items, connects the supplier and customers by the help of supply chain. Production network administration is a source of upper hand and economic development for the association. During the study, the independent variables are Top management commitment, mutual understanding and trust, information sharing and flow, strategic suppliers and customer’s relationship, organizational factor while the dependent variable is Supply chain responsiveness. The population of the study was telecom companies in Pakistan. The researcher selects the whole population as a sample size because the population is too small. The sample size of the study was 100 employees of different telecom companies. During the study, data was collected through questionnaire which was based on 5 Likert scale. The questionnaire was distributed in logistics and procurement department. The data was analyzed through correlation and regression model by using SPSS Software. The study concludes that Top management commitment, mutual understanding and trust, information sharing and flow, strategic suppliers and customer’s relationship, organizational factors are factors which are observed to have positive relation with supply chain responsiveness. Following are the main recommendations of this study: for the external factors like the organization factors, information sharing and flow and top management commitment in the supply chain telecom companies needs little bit real upgrades. Telecom Companies is doing great regarding shared comprehension and Trust, vital provider and client connections and responsiveness; be that as it may, there is a requirement for additional creating and upgrading these variables.
