dc.description.abstract Purpose of the research: The Purpose of this research is to study the impact of gossip on employee cynicism. Gossip has two main competent, job related gossip and non-job related gossip. Apart from gossip there are few more things that can have an impact on employee cynicism which is psychological contract violation and abusive supervisor. 278 respondents from Karachi participated in the study through questionnaire in this extensive study. Research Method/Sampling: The nature of research is quantitative and for the collection of data primary sources were used. The data was collected through two ways online survey and physical visits to the companies. The sampling technique used in this research is cross sectional technique and deductive approach has been used. Statistical tools have also been applied to figure out data analysis of this research; in this regard SPSS, Regression, correlation and ANOVA have been applied. Findings of the Research: All the hypothesis were statistically proved and studied in detail narrating the integration of two main constructs of Employee Cynicism: Job Related Gossip and Non-Job related gossip at Workplace Practical Implications of the Research: These results increased our understandings regarding the impact of job related and non-job related gossip on employee cynicism. Considering this research organizations will be more focused on making the environment free from job related gossip en_US
