Abstract:
Purpose: The main objective of this research is to identify impact of electronic procurement on
the supply chain performance.
Methodology. The study involved use of questionnaires filled by 304 respondents. Out of 200+
were those who are working in the supply chain department or they dealt with procurement
activities and remaining respondent were the student of supply chain. Descriptive and inferential
statistics were used to analyze the data. The data is collected from primary source that is
questionnaire.
Findings: The findings from this research determines that e-procurement e-sourcing and e-
procurement e-negotiation as the most essential and significant factor which leads to impacting
the supply chain overall performance. E-procurement and e-sourcing organization selects the
suppliers through an electronic procurement system. It is a process in which containing bids from
various suppliers through the one single online platform. E-procurement e-negotiation in this
buyer and supplier negotiated via electronic technology system, it is used for contract agreement,
is also a motivating because they providing the efficient procedure factors for both the supplier
and buyer, and it’s also helping to make a better contract in a fewer time.
Practical Implications: Different businesses to enhance the process and effectiveness of e-
procurement on the overall supply chain performance. E-procurement is the bettei ways to craft
customer friendly system to achieve the profitability and to make the efficient performance of
supply chain.
