Abstract:
As firm want to increase their cooperative relationship with their acute supplies and with
executive of buyer so that they have used supplier development in order to safeguard their
performance and objective. Supplier development are using to improving supplier
presentation and capabilities and buying firm are also used to improve and see their current
and future company needs. Know in recent days many companies have focused in supplier
performance so that my research is based on the importance of supplier development which
only show the firm perspective related to a buyer and supplier performance. This research
used to see the impact and role of supplier development on buyer performance in automobile
industry sector of Karachi. The study is basically show two dimension of buyer-supplier
relationship and transaction between two parties. The paper collected data of 300 sample of
purchasing and marketing executive and the study found out that three factors had positive
impact on supplier development and one factor had negative impact on it so the impact of
supplier development is directly link with the buyer performance. This mean the company
highly worded on supplier development program so that they increase buyer performance in
both short and long way. Finally, this study suggested that if they firm want to increase their
competitive edge over other companies, they try to align their performance, resources and
activities through supplier development program so that the firm increase their performance
and increased consumer satisfaction.
