TO DETERMINE THE IMAPCT OF TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS (ERP PROCURMENT AND THEIR IMPACT ON FIRM PERFORMANCE

Abstract

Purpose The purpose of this research is to find out the impact of Technological advancements (i.e. ERP in procurement) on the performance of firm. The literature has highlighted the fact that, factor of ERP in procurement helps the firm in reducing cost, improving delivery, reducing Waste and improving performance. The research was carried out among the firms that have implemented ERP however all of them belonged FMCG sector of Pakistan. Methodology/Sani pie This causal study is based on quantitative data collected through close ended questionnaire. The sample size set was 200 were filled and returned by the respondents completely and were used for further analysis. Cronbach’s Alpha Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression were applied through SPSS for data analysis. Findings The findings from the research shows that, other than processes all the factors suggest that they have positive significant relationship with performance of the firm. However, delivery has shown a higher correlation with the firm performance.
