Abstract:
Purpose
The motivation behind this study is to assess the influence of monetary as well as non
monetary factors on engagement specifically with regard to the case of Meezan Bank.
The study aims to evaluate the impact of specific factors on the development of
performance among employees.
Methodology
This research is quantitative; therefore, the philosophy used is positivism and design of
the study selected is explanatory. The sample size of the research is 200 who are the
employees working in the Meezan Bank Pakistan so that they can give their opinions
about the factors impacting their employee engagement. The instrument is based on likert
scale and the primary sources are utilized for gathering information. The tool of SPSS has
been used entailing the test of regression and correlation which are used for the measuring
the relationship between the identified variables.
Findings
The results have revealed that the tested hypotheses are accepted indicating that reward
and recognition, perceived supervisor support and psychological climate can influence
employee performance. The relationship among variables of this study is found to be
strongly positive. Thus, employee performance can be attained through integrating reward
and recognition, perceived supervisor support and psychological climate.
Practical Implications
The study provides an in-depth understanding in practical and theoretical implications in
Meezan bank Pakistan which help representatives of Meezan Bank to excel.
