dc.description.abstract Purpose: The basic aim and the core purpose on a wide aspect is to gather the deep analysis and to investigate the impact of uncertainty factors affecting supply of cotton in textile industry of Pakistan. However this research is precisely focused on the three major uncertainty factors that are demand uncertainty, process uncertainty and climate uncertainty that ultimately causes uncertainty in supply of cotton to the textile industry of Pakistan. Although there are some other uncertainty factors that could affect the supply however their impact is too little to be considered. Research Methodology: This research is purely primary in nature therefore all the data has been collected through questionnaire from the textile personnel accordingly. As research is quantitative in nature therefore the collected data has been analyzed and comprehend the result with respect to the findings of the research. The analysis shows the deep insight on the ground realities of independent variables and how they affects the supply of cotton. The number of responses taken on questionnaire are 300 and are collected from different textile personnel of different textile companies in Karachi. The collected data has been analyzed while applying multivariate regression model and coefficient matrix on SPSS and then evaluate the findings with respect to the hypothesis designed. Findings of the Research: The results of this research study revealed that there is significant and direct impact of demand uncertainty on supply uncertainty. Moreover climate uncertainty has a direct and strong impact on supply uncertainty. However, surprisingly the findings of this research suggests that process uncertainty has inverse relation with supply uncertainty. Practical Implications: This research study would be beneficial in order to understand the problems in agriculture sector also it will help professionals, researchers and organizations to understand the impact of different uncertainty factors on supply and to use the policies discussed to this sector in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness. en_US
