| dc.description.abstract | The basic aim of this study is to examine the impact of human resource practices over supply chain (SC) performance. The HR practices considered in this paper are selection, training, compensation, evaluation and performance management. In order to carry out this study, non probability convenience sampling is employed, moreover primary data was gathered via Google forms from sample size of 350 employees of different, manufacturing as well as servicing, companies of Karachi. SPSS software is employed in this study. Reliability and regression test is used to find the reliability of items and to discover the casual effect exists between the proposed independent variables and dependent variable, respectively. The findings revealed that there is significantly positive association between Human resource practices and supply chain performance that leads to acceptance of all the proposed hypotheses. This paper has highlighted that Supply chains and HRM, despite of the two separate domains, should be treated as the supporting domains because this can contribute directly for the prosperity of any organization. The researcher has tried to make it clear that supply chain performance can be improved by executing effectively human resource practices. And companies can achieve prestigious position in the market not only on national level but on the international level as well. | en_US |
