dc.description.abstract Purpose of the research Despite the excessive use of internet for the purpose of recruitment activities, very little knowledge is available about how people who are seeking jobs process the information which is presented on the website, even before the organizations have recruited these job seekers. By using the sample size of402 job seekers in Bahria University Karachi, this study has been done on two well-known organizations, P&G and Unilever. By using two main variables website viewing time and website content recall to examine and analyze the pre-recruitment perspectives/perceptions of organizations which are known and familiar to job seekers. The study assesses website viewing time and website content recall as dependent variables and General attractiveness, Intentions to pursue, Prestige and Person- Organization fit as independent variables. Research Method/ Sampling The nature of this particular research is quantitative and the data was collected through primary sources. The data of this research was collected by the people who are seeking jobs through questionnaires to examine their pre-recruitment organizational perceptions. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling. For the purpose of analyzing the data of findings of this research the statistical tool SPSS have been applied. Findings of the Research In this study all hypothesis were statistically analyzed and examined. The independent variables general attractiveness, prestige, intentions to pursue, P-0 fit are positively related with their two dependent variables website viewing time and website content recall, which is statistically proved through Multiple Linear Regression in case of P&G recruitment websites shows better results rather than the recruitment website of Unilever. It was observed that in this research potential job seekers tend to show more preference to P&G recruitment website than Unilever. Practical Implications of the Research Through the findings and results of this research it has enhanced the understandings about how diverse potential job seekers perceive recruitment websites. en_US
