Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of interpersonal trust, team
leader support and Rewards system on knowledge sharing among three different organizations
in Karachi.
Methodology/Sample: A structured questionnaire was distributed to 432 employees working
in three different food companies in Karachi. Data was analyzed by Correlation and Multiple
Regression Analysis along with the use of non-probability convenience sampling as a
sampling technique.
Findings: The analysis shows that the interpersonal trust and Rewards influences the
knowledge sharing process in organization. Higher the amount of interpersonal trust and
Rewards, higher will be the knowledge sharing in organization. However team leader support
turn out to be the non-influential or very low influential factor for knowledge sharing.
Research Limitations/ Implications: Like many other studies this research has some
limitation. The study is conducted only in city Karachi in which we need to manage
prevailing dynamic environment plus we were allotted with only 15 days for this data
collection process , due to time constraints this study was limited towards food industry only.
Overall we have four months to submit our research work and we did not have much resource
to examine each variable in more detailed and particular manner.
