dc.description.abstract Purpose: This research was aimed at finding out the “impact of Employees’ Perception of Automation system on Organizational Effectiveness in Information & Archives Department” of provincial Government of Sindh. Automation system is a standardized software package which is designed to integrate the information and process flow of the organization through a single software solution. This software is capable of operating across departmental and functional boundaries. Methodology: The research study, being exploratory in nature, involved quantitative data collected through a questionnaire which’s validity was pre checked through pilot testing. Deductive approach was followed whereby hypotheses were first formulated followed by preparation of research instrument. Data was collected from a sample of 278 employees. The respondents are the employees of Sindh Information & Archives Department, headquarter based at Karachi. Sample consisted of both males and females employess. The collected Data was analysed applying the statistical tools Correlation, Regression and Anova. Findings: This research study learnt that there is very significant and positive impact of automation on the organizational effectiveness. Furthermore E- procurement and E- Human Resource has a strong impact on the organizational effectiveness and both are helpful creating a transparent, assessable work environment with the strong relationship of G2G, G2B and G2C. Implications: This study is likely to be helpful for the stake holders of Information & Archives Department, Government of Sindh to get the better understanding of ground realities. As employee perception is the imperative in effective work enviornment. It shapes organizational behaviour and ultimately resulted in the individual and organizational success. A better understanding of employee perception will improve the organizational effectiveness. Recommendations of this research study will be helpful in improving the effectiveness of organization and leads towrd employess satisfaction. As the process of automation is in implemmentation phase to match global governance standerds further scholars may undertake similar study for other departments of Sindh government. en_US
