Abstract:
Purpose: This research study is performed with an objective to determine role of supervisor or
manager within an organizational structure focusing on TCF. its different elements to help in
performing effectively job role, the impact of positive feedback of supervisor on employee in
determination of their job role.
Research Methodology: This research study followed with explanatory research approach to
determine the impact of supervisory support and positive feedback on employee job
performance to understand nature and strength of relationship of supervisory support and
positive feedback on job performance to understand their marginal impact. This research study
is primary and quantitative in nature. The targeted population of current research study is The
Citizen Foundation. In this research study non-probabilistic sampling approach has adopted.
This research study followed with survey technique. In this research study, questionnaire has
used as data collection instrument. This research has adopted multivariate regression technique
to understand the impact of supervisory support and positive feedback on employee job
performance in The Citizen Foundation.
Findings of the Research: The findings of current research study reveal that hypotheses that
there is positive impact of supervisory support on employee job performance in service sector of
Pakistan has accepted at 5 percent level of significance with significance value of 0.0000.
Similarly, hypotheses that there is positive impact of supervisor’s positive feedback on
employee job performance in service sector of Pakistan have accepted at 5 percent level of
significance with significance value of 0.0000.
Practical Implications: It has revealed through this study that supervisory support and positive
feedback have significant role in determination of employee job performance and can be
improved to achieve employee productivity enhancement objectives.
