Abstract:
Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of outsourcing on organizational
performance in LUCKY TEXTILE MILLS. For this study “Peripheral outsourcing, core
outsourcing, environment dynamism and cost of outsource products” were selected as
determinants of outsourcing.
Methodology:
Deductive approach was adopted for this study whereby hypotheses were developed after in-
depth study of the literature. A sample of 225respondents was selected and non-probability
convenience sampling technique was followed. Responses were collected via structured
questionnaire on a five-point liker scale. For analysis SPSS was used, various statistical
techniques like correlation, regression was applied.
Findings:
The analysis of data collected from super respondents showed that there is positive relationship
between variables (Peripheral outsourcing, core outsourcing, environment dynamism and cost
of outsource products) and impact of outsourcing have positive relationship on organizational
performance.
Implications:
This research is considered quite useful in the sense that it has contributed in current
knowledge regarding impact of Outsourcing on organizational performance. This study
contributes in current knowledge of impact of Outsourcing on organizational performance and
other organizations of textile industry may also benefit from findings of study. Organization of
other industries may also benefit for this study.
