Abstract:
Purpose:
This study is conducted with an objective to determine different elements of
organizational culture in K-electric before and after transition phase with changes
observed during the period. It also aims to investigate the influence of recent
organizational culture of K-electric in determination of employee motivation at K-
electric.
Research Methodology:
This research study is explanatory in nature in which deductive approach was adopted.
This is said as basic practice of valid reasoning. It initiates with a hypothesis or general
statement, and thus observes the prospects to reach a precise, consistent deduction. In this
approach the influence of independent variable was examined over dependent variable.
This research study is basically based on primary and quantitative data. The targeted
population of current research work is K-Electric. The sample size of current research
study was around 300. In this research study convenience sampling technique was
followed for data collection through a questionnaire. Multivariate regression technique
was selected as statistical tool for data analysis.
Findings of the Research:
The results of study reveal that there is a significant and positive impact of organizational
beliefs, organizational determination, organizational harmony and organizational passion
on employee motivation K-electric while there is no significant impact of organizational
diversity on employee motivation in K-electric. Organizational determination and
organizational passion have more significant impact on employee motivation at K-
electric.
Practical Implications:
This study clearly indicated importance of organizational harmony and passion as critical
elements to organizational culture in K-electric and its contribution in organizational
cultural development process and its resultant impact on employee motivation uplifting
process
