Abstract:
Purpose:
Purpose of this research is found out the impact of human resource management practices on
employee job satisfaction at Engro Corporation Karachi. HRM practices are procedures or
policies which help to employees to reach at right path and get satisfactory level regarding
their jobs.
Methodology Sample:
This research is exploratory in nature, involved quantitative data which collected by
questionnaire. Sample size is used 270 employees (both gender) to conduct survey belonging
different departments of Engro Corporation Karachi. In order to investigate and analyze the
data Regression and correlation tests applied.
Findings:
Results of this research have declared that there is no impact of recruitment and selection and
training on employee’s job satisfaction at Engro Corporation Karachi. Engro does not have an
effective and partial hiring and training procedures, although it is prime importance for job
satisfaction in order to get the best of employees. However, other HRM practices that are
compensation and career growth are source of employees’ job satisfaction at Engro
Corporation Karachi as these are strongly influential on the satisfaction level of employees
Practical Implications:
The findings of conducted research are likely to help the management of Engro Corporation
Karachi about the improvement of HRM practices to maximize employee job satisfaction and
also about any kind of weaknesses are the policies and practices adopted by the organization.
This study could be useful for many other organizations.
