dc.description.abstract The Android smartphones and applications are part of the modem technology and an essential part in our lives nowadays, everyone uses Android phones for different purposes like gaming, listening music, taking photos etc. It makes life more convenient as compared to the past. Pakistan faces several security issues one of them is smartphone snatching. So, the idea is to build an Android application; with the help of which this application can locate the phone and recover important data. A feature of the application is that whenever a person attempts to unlock the smartphone with four wrong passwords, by the help of Wi-Fi 3G, the GPS location will be sent to the registered email address and the contact list too; the photos will be uploaded on the server, at last the data will be wiped. This idea is basically for the benefit of the general public who are suffering from several issues like "mobile snatching". en_US
