Online Appointments and Clinic Management

Abstract

We are experiencing different difficulties when visiting a doctor here in Pakistan. We do not know the availability a doctor at his clinic and if the doctor is available we have very long wait times and also we also encounter that after discussing our complaints doctor refers us for a medical test and so the disease should properly be diagnosed and after all that wait we would have to get the test result and get in line again and wait for our turn. Our application will be eliminating this problem. It will assist the patient and the doctor as well. Our basic idea is to implement a virtual reception at a medical clinic or a hospital which can assist a doctor as well. We will be designing a system which would help to reduce paperwork at a medical clinic and long wait times for the patients in the lobby and to maintain their records for a better healthcare experience. We do not have these type of applications in our country, similar apps are running in the United States designed by big IT companies but one of the short comings we noticed is the selection of a doctor of a particular specialty, they do not provide schedule of all doctors our application will bring everything in one place for the patients. Doctors and patients will both get the benefits of the application.
