Student Academic Monitoring System for Guardian

Abstract

Parents are facing difficulties to monitor the academic performance of their child because of busy life. Most often, parents do not know even if their children came to school. Sometimes students bunk their classes and school as well. Sometimes parents are busy with working hours and cannot attend parent-teacher meetings. The system will help parents whose children are going to school to monitor their academic performance and their daily attendance. The system provides facilities to view the marks of assignments, quizzes and attendance of their children so that the parent examines the academic performance of child. When children reach to school, System notifies parents by text message. Our system will provide live chat module through which parents and teachers can have live conversation to discuss performance of students. System is comprised of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to identifies the student and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technology to send text messages.
