FACTORS AFFECTING ON PERFORMANCE OF PROCUREMENT IN ENGRO FERTILIZER

Abstract

Purpose of the Study: The primary purpose of conducting this research is to find out the impact of factors which affect procurement performance in Engro fertilizer. Research Methodology: The data has been collected from Engro fertilizers employees working in Engro fertilizer's Head office Karachi. Primary data has been collected and the type of research is quantitative in nature. Different test including correlation and regression are applied on this research and collective data is examined and integrated through SPSS. Findings: Two hypotheses have been proved as statistically significant. To find the factors which can affect positively or negatively on procurement performance, all the hypothesis was critically discussed and interpreted. Results: There is a strong positive relationship between performance of procurement with procurement process. Information technology, staff competency, and supplier relationship are analyzed through regression analysis. This study recommends that the procurement process contributed most of the performance in Engro fertilizer. In addition, they should adopt more technology in the organization to increase their efficiency of procurement. Practical implication: This study will help to find out that the factors which can be affected on performance of procurement. It can be improving the efficiency of procurement practices.
