dc.description.abstract Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is one of the most vague and ill-defined phenomena in the field of woman health. About 80% of women in reproductive age experience premenstrual syndrome. However from few years premenstrual syndrome has been subject of medical research. Many articles describe the causes of premenstrual syndrome have been publicized. This syndrome influence on women's health related issues like psychological distress and premenstrual syndrome has also impact on marital adjustment. The aim of this study was analysis psychological distress and marital adjustment among females with and without premenstrual syndrome. Material and methods. A group of 105 females (age 23-40) was subjected to an analysis. The research tool was Relational Assessment 31 items Questionnaire was u,sed to analysis marital adjustment, Kessler distress scale 10 questionnaires was used to analysis psychological distress in females with and without premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual tension syndrome screening tool 11 questionnaire was used to analysis premenstrual symptoms. The association between collected data was evaluated by using SPSs. Results indicated significant positive correlation between premenstrual syndrome, marital adjustment, As Premenstrual syndrome increases participants are more likely to experience RP, RE and RD. The distress is correlated with PMS. It is indicated that distress, RP and RD is significantly high among those females who are with premenstrual syndrome. RE is significantly low among those who are without premenstrual syndrome. None from demographic, had no statistics significance on frequency of premenstrual syndrome. This study should be enlarged for bigger population, with including prospective analysis of menstrual cycle. en_US
