| dc.description.abstract | Purpose-This research evaluates the key factors in Outsourcing of Textile Businesses in Pakistan with their Implications for Supplier selection and buyer satisfaction in context of Pakistan Textile sector only. Methodology/sample- Primary methodology has been used in the current study. The research has a huge population therefore under non-probabilistic sampling it uses convenience sampling in order to access the participants easily. The total sample for the current study is 115 companies in the textile sector of Pakistan selected randomly. Findings- Cost, Delivery and Service were found out to be major important factors whereas Quality, flexibility, innovation and Relationship carry no significant importance for buyers when they are choosing their suppliers. Practical Implications- In Pakistani textile sector supplier selection process focuses more on cost, service and delivery, if a buyer purchases a raw material being competitive on cost from a supplier that will eventually result in greater profits, but might affect the standard of quality product, due to which delivery problems might occur which would lead to the financial problems for the business as well. | en_US |
