IMPACT OF SCOR MODEL ON SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE- A CASE ON ATLAS BATTERY LIMITED

Abstract

Purpose In today’s global market where competition is high, the choices for customers are increasing day by day. Thus elements like cost, quality, innovation and reliability all constitutes major impact on the overall efficiency of the organization. Methodology By studying the literature of previous researchers a theoretical framework is designed and then primary data is collected from 30 respondents of Atlas Battery Limited. After collecting the data hypothesis were tested by using statistical tools. Data were collected through questionnaire from respondents of Atlas Battery Limited. Correlation test is used to analyze the relationship between SCOR model and supply chain performance. Findings The results suggest that significant relation exist among SCOR model and supply chain performance. This study reveals that implementation of SCOR model is very important for any organization to gain competitive edge in the market as well as to increase overall efficiency of the organization. Practical Implementations The outcomes of this research will might help supply chain professionals to understand the impact of SCOR model on supply chain performance. Along with quality, reliability, responsiveness and cost also plays very important role to gain customer satisfaction which should be the ultimate goal of any organization if it wants to grow.
