dc.description.abstract The study area selected for this dissertation extends on a regional scale and covers Kadanwari, Sawan and Tajjal concessions. It falls under a transtentional regime with cretaceous Lower Goru plays and sub-plays. Keeping in mind the tectonic history of the basin and direction of sedimentary influx, those seismic lines were selected which run along the depositional dip along with some strike lines to tie the seismic data appropriately. Wells were regionally distributed in the area but only those were preferred which were close to the seismic lines and would help define regional composites in the area. The objective was to follow an integrated approach to map and evaluate the basinal and depositional dips along with the reservoir characteristics of lower goru reservoir sands in the area. en_US
