Friends Finding Using GPS

Abstract

Friends Finding Using GPS Application is a platform for the Android mobile users. The main Project idea is to make a mobile application where users can find nearby friends, easily get connected to their friends and can communicate with them according to their circles. In this application users get to know the location of the friends on Google map and get the notification when a friend gets inside a defined circle. The user get know their nearest friends and if some emergency occurs notification about their current location and the problem will be send to their nearest friends. Users have an option to enter the friend in the list of circle or to make a customized circle of their own. Users have a facility to send messages to specific friend and to send to the entire circle. The hosted database is used to store data of all the users and a web portal will be made for the administrator to manage the database. This system is made using Java, Android Studio, Visual Studio and SQL Server database.
