dc.description.abstract This project contemplate the dexterity of the field of augmented reality, it is a technology through which the view of real world environment is augmented by computer generated elements/objects. Augmented reality is related to a mediated reality, in which a view of reality is modified using a computer system. This project delineate the characteristics of Augmented Reality systems, including a detailed discussion of the trade-offs between different presentation approaches. The proposed idea for the system to be developed involves an augmented reality based town planning structure for the conceptual manipulation of models. The goal is to improve presentations and make changes on run-time. This is planned to be achieved by using black and white markers along with other software, and hardware support. The aspects explored are the skills and techniques required to achieve the desired goal. i en_US
