FACTOR AFFECTING THE EXPORT OF TEXTILE STUDYING THE IMPACT OF COTTON PRODUCTION INTEREST RATE AND EXCHANGE RATE ON THE LEVEL OF EXPORT

Abstract

The economic performance of Pakistan is mainly dependent on production of cotton due to its status in usage and produces in the world keep in front, by giving core attention towards cotton in economy there is need to be understand its surrounding and dynamics with immense planning and development of this sector is major objective, for forecasting its performance with long term plans with glorious efforts and the world demand of cotton gives positive expression for export. The economy is truly integrated with cotton industry and textile sector which play’s significance role for development of economy. The structure of cotton industry is much supportive with private entities, government agencies to regulate and provide better environment for cotton production. Cotton and its products contribute about 10 per cent to GDP and 55 per cent to the foreign exchange earnings of the country. Pakistan has an emerging and major player in the cotton industry and most competitive players in the global yam and textile markets. The textile industry of Pakistan is playing a key role in economic sector it will be the main force in industrial and agricultural areas. The textile sector of Pakistan is proving its strength in international market the last four decades. The most important thing is to be considered by buyer is availability of cotton on regular basis with respect to its growth
