dc.description.abstract The modem era is the revolutionary technological era that changes the world and probable continue exponentially in likely future, with these rapid developments and social changes in the society it also erupt the dark side; Crimes are also altering from traditional form to a new kind and this emergence also makes the criminal behavior far-reaching as now it is not restricted by geographical limitations. This study offers insights of one of the non-deceptive e-crime i.e. Software piracy by focusing on consumer of Pakistan. Soft Piracy is widely spread all over the world. This study explores the dominating factors of consumer attitude towards software piracy, by empirical studies software piracy is an intentional behavior of a consumer where as this study tries to find out the factors; ethical, socio-economical, demographical and behavioral factors that can be un-intentional.the study will highlighted the key factors and recommended that proper implementation of cyber laws could protect the expansion of counterfeit marketing. en_US
