dc.description.abstract The topic of my project is “Employee Turnover in Sales Department of Candy land . In this project I basically tried to find out the reasons for the high turnover rate in sales department of Candy land. I also focus on the problems organizations have to face when their key employees leave the job. I obtain data from both primary and secondary sources. Data was collected through questionnaire and interviews. Structured interview was taken from Assistant HR manager and other people in HR department discussing about the important issues related to employee turnover. Questionnaire has also been considered for this study. It s an efficient data collection instrument to analyze the troubles 50 copies were circulated to the respondents in sales department in Candy Land Head office. Information was also collected through the use of internet as it is the most important source for data gathering. Another method used for data gathering was the annual reports of the company. Turnover varies from company to company. Turnover rate of a retail company will be entirely different from the turnover of pharmaceutical company. A company's size, growth rate, and industry can influence the movement of its salespeople. Competitor targets your sale force in order to gain more market share. But companies with low turnover are aggressive with good quality products and after sales support. Salespeople constrain tine top line. If the company can trail the sale generated by salesperson, then they should get incentives according to philosophy of "pay for performance" .This will increase the performance of the sales employees and they will be that incentivizes create more problem then solution.. It varies from person to person. It is the responsibility of HR department to find out what their people actually wants. What tilings motivate their people and which things increase their dissatisfaction level. Sales employees are the one who increase the sales for the company they are the one who brings profit for the company. They role is veiy important in success of the company. Hiring and training of new sales personnel create sales delay. If the new sales person doesn’t work out the organization have to start search of new sales employee This will increase the recruitment and training cost of employee. Organizations have to bear huge expense so it is better for them to retain old employees instead incurring expenses on new employee. en_US
