dc.description.abstract	This study brings the portrayal of politicians in limelight by analyzing the framing of views by different news channels in varying aspects. Several variables and the factors which result in the specific amount and type of coverage of politicians by a specific programme of a specific news channel and accordingly, the perceptions and attitudes of people formed on being exposed to such content will be studied. This study also takes in consideration the role of media to perform a watchdog function. Concurrently, the limits and boundaries any news outlet needs to form to not to invade the private life of a politician.	en_US
