IMPACT OF DOWNSIDE USAGE OF SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES ON YOUTH EDUCATION

Abstract

In today’s fast moving and modem world Social networking sites are increasingly attracting the attention of academic institute’s students and industries of the era. However if we look around us we can not deny this fact that today many of the burning issues are arises regarding the society safety and development. A social networking site is a one major platform for youth to discuss their issues, to interact with friends, and to socialize. My research is conducted regarding the current burning issue of downside usage of social networking sites on youth education. This research is conducted on youth between age group of 16 to 30 years, with a view to know about the level of awareness about the social networking sites. The study was conducted through questionnaires in three different universities and a total number of 105 respondents were responding to it. The findings of the research conclude that the youth has a huge effect of social networking sites in negative way and it terrifically impact on the education of youth. The responses of the study were with the favor of topic and agreed with the statement that the excessive use of social networking sites has a negative impact on youth education.
