Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to explore a number of marketing Opportunity for the export of
Halal Food from Pakistan, in relation to certification problem, export hurdles and the lack of
infrastructure and technology.
The study reveals that the Increase in global demand and the growing Muslim population size
has resulted in new horizon in business of Halal food items. Halal users are persuading new and
innovative Halal products. There is also a growing trend toward product quality and safety.
There are approximately 1.6B Muslims in 112 countries, eventually creating intense market for
Halal food items. Meanwhile developing nations are facing decrease in populations in because of
shrink family size, Muslims on the other hand, facing rapid population growth because of large
family size. Now the religion Islam is 2nd largest religion of the world which is growing at the
fastest pace. The Halal market is calculated to be at S580B globally. Considering increasing
incomes and growing Muslim population, in future, Halal food estimated to take 20% of world
trade in food market.
