Abstract:
This Study was conducted to evaluate the business model of Getz pharma Pvt. Ltd. A
descriptive thesis is prepared and data is collected through primary as well as secondary
resources. To gain better understanding of the researched area articles and literatures
are studied. In order to get the insight and deep information interview are conducted
from the pillar persons of the company. Conclusion and finding are dependent on the
answers of the interviewee and my understandings.
Over the past few years Getz pharma has shown immense profitability. There are
various reasons behind this; one of the reasons is its unique business model. Company
has its head office in Dubai, UAE, Manufacturing facility in Karachi, Pakistan and
research facility in Mumbai, India. It is exporting to almost twenty (20) countries. The
key success factors lies in company's acquisition, affiliation and partnerships, including
forward integration. One of the key success factors of Getz pharma is that it continues
to develop and train its human assets. Company is focused on safe technology, team
work and transparency upon which the corporate culture of the company is built. Getz
Pharma's corporate social responsibility program focuses on areas of health, education
for the underprivileged, employee's welfare, preservation of environment and cultural
heritage in all markets where they operate.
In a short period of seventeen years from its inception in 1995, company has achieved
the position of the largest pharmaceutical exporter as well as the second largest tax
payer due to the distinctive business model of this company.
