Energy Gas Pipelines in South Asia : Strategic Implications and Economic Prospects

Abstract

The research topic, “Energy Gas Pipelines: Economic Prospects and Strategic Implications” was an attempt to utilize the concepts and theories studied during the coursework for International Relations and apply them to draw meaningful conclusions. Alongside, South Asia is my area of interest, thus the research is aimed at using the problem solving skills developed during the coursework to identify and analyze issues in the region. Moreover, the topic of the research is a current and an ongoing one, thus the experience of collecting data for the issues involved was an enriching yet interesting experience. At the same time, the topic caters to the interest in the field of energy diplomacy.
