Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the depression in housewives due to psychological and physical aspect of a
women. Starting with the introduction about depression and their types and the pace in which
they are increasing in housewives, further elaborating the problem definition, consequence of
this research to be undertaken, drive for this study, scope of this study and finally the limitations.
The second chapter particularly focuses the research methodology which was conducted during
the survey and the procedure that was taken to collect the raw data which is mainly questionnaire
and the researcher’s personal observation. The data was later cleansed for abnormalities and
missing values where removed and later was passed to the statistical tool which analyzed and
calculated the results. The data was collected from multiple sources and to ensure anonymity the
details of the data were not shared as the data was collected on the basis on not to be replicated.
The third chapter focuses on the work of other researchers in the similar field to broaden the
knowledge base which includes pieces of literature within the county and across the globe.
The fourth chapter is about the analysis of data that was gathered during the course of research
and illustration about the findings.
Based on the results of the findings some recommendations were presented which were mainly
concentrated on the facts provided and was compared to the results that were published to get a
better understanding of the credibility of the thesis. Conclusive remarks carters by which of
aspects that is psychological or physical is the major cause in the depression in housewives.
