dc.description.abstract Purpose-Main aim of this study was to investigate the level of growth in SME sector along with any possible impact on market share of large scale organizations. Much of emphasis is being paid on the development of SME sector, however, concept of corporate governance is important to be both understood and applied for sustainable development. Methodology/Sample- Interviews shall be used to investigate the problem. Findings-77ze role of SMEs in the development of the nation’s economy is very well understood and therefore efforts are taken to ensure a favourable environment is created for the establishment of SMEs. For this purpose, the Government is also playing a positive role. While SMEs sector is being developed and supported, it does not have a major impact on the market share of large scale organizations. Practical Implications- This research may help the policy makers to understand the influence of fast growth in SMEs on market share, specifically how it may affect the market share of large scale organizations, particularly in Pakistan. en_US
