Abstract:
Electronic Leaming(E-Leaming) is the online or computer based module like software that teach you the learning of any type through a simulation of written and graphical way through which one can learn very effectively. One has to drive the whole process stepwise at their ease, which means that it is at ones hand to run the program and move it ahead. In the end of the whole learning the program usually takes online examination which is then taken as the completion criteria of the learning. This learning is the reciprocal of the training in which employees perform learning either at home on weekends or at less critical hours of offices so that the business activities of the organization do not hurt.
The results of E-Leaming are remarkable. Many successful organizations have launched their E- Leaming programs/modules particularly organization in which technical knowledge of the business is essential like banks, audit firms, software houses etc. Large organizations with internal capability make their in-house programs and small scale industries usually buy the developed software of learning through vendors. Few vendors are providing online access to the learning and charge the client per user access of the E-leaming Portal.
This study is designed to assess the impact of the E-Learning on the job performance of employees as compared to the learning that employees get at the training session. The overall result and analysis concluded that E-leaming is beneficial way for the learning of the employees and it help to increase the job performance of employees working in Pakistan. It has been concluded on the research that E-Learning software or modules are easy to understand and they are also user friendly software that are designed as per the need of the employees. Organizations are investing a lot on the E-Leaming software so as to make it up to date and also to make it more relevant to the work need of the employees. E-Learning is also designed in such a way that the actual job of the employee is not affected. On the peak hours many organizations even disable the link of E-Learning so that the actual work does not hurt due to any E-Learning activity. Organizations want to replace the need of traditional training by the E-Leaming because it has many cost and physiological benefits as it’s reduce many human efforts. Although currently the E-Learning software used in Pakistan are little bore and less interactive. It has been in the consideration that it should be make very interactive and intelligence so that then factor of boredom can be eliminated from E-Leaming.
