Abstract:
The main objective of the study is to analyze and identify the main factors that have
directly affected job satisfaction among employees and employer of different commercial
banks in Pakistan. The pay and motivation are considered as the first main factors but
other factors like promotion, advancement, growth opportunities and importance in work
place also have relevance i obtained the views of employees of UBL (United Bank
Limited) and Bank Islami, to know what they think about their banks. From their pay
scales, are they satisfied or not? And I am interested to know, employees opinion about
the job. Which factor has a greater importance, whether pay or motivation? UBL and
Bank Islami both are my target banks. The nature of my research is both qualitative and
quantitative. I did comparative analysis between UBL and Bank Islami. For survey I used
questionnaires and I conducted the interview from the selected employees of banks.
Instmments used in my research, are primary and secondary data. From this survey I
want to know what employees thinks about their jobs, what they expect from their jobs
and from their banks, and which factor play a great role to motivate them, to make them
stay in organization and through which factor they feel they would be loyal to the bank.
