dc.description.abstract Purpose - In any organization the role of leader is as important as the functions of the organization itself. There is no restriction on the growth of any particular organization under the right leadership. It is the right leadership that is difficult to find not the results it can deliver. This study will tell the appropriateness of different leadership styles according to different scenarios of different organizations having different types of staff and employees. Methodology/ Research Design/approach - This study engulfs data sampled from 100 business management students currently studying in Bahria University. Various barriers to the leadership including risk aversion, lack of resources, lack of resources and social networking also the leadership inclination were thoroughly assessed and respondents’ perception towards each factor was gathered. Research implications/ limitations - This research study’s findings could not include people from other cities of Pakistan so the scenario stays intact. The quantitative approach of research employed couldn’t uncover the detailed information effectively regarding various barriers towards leadership and entrepreneurship. Further details can be accessed through a more confined combination of qualitative and quantitative researches. Originality/value - This research study was carried out in a developing country and respondents were based in Karachi where significant contribution has been made for the analysis of inclination towards leadership of different types and its effect on the employees. However, interesting insights into these barriers were leached from this study. en_US
