dc.description.abstract This report provides you with the complete information about Enterprise Resource Planning that how it enhances organizational productivity and can give company a competitive edge over its competitors. Enterprise Resource Planning software’s can be used for a wide range of purposes in a business which involves the planning of the product, purchasing of the parts, management of inventories, interaction with the suppliers, tracking of the orders, along with providing service to customers. ERP is an acronym used for the term Enterprise Resource Planning; it is an ambitious term which realistically attempts to incorporate all the functions and departments working across an organization on a single computer system. It is an industrial term used for a wide range of activities which helps a business in the management of important aspects related to its business. ERP systems consolidate all business operations in a single system, which can reside on a centralized server, distributed in units of autonomous hardware on local network or be hosted remotely via the web.
