dc.description.abstract The study has significance in its own as it untie the secrets of success of a third most widely used social networking site across the globe. The study replicates the current standing of twitter proportional to its success, restrictive to Karachi, Pakistan. The paper indicates the main aspects that carry twitter to edge up to the mass of its success. The study unwrap some attributes that has been followed up by the Twitter that nurture its success rate and is still on the rise. The study is significant for both twitter and other current and potential social networking sites to be aware of the aspects that contribute and retain its success, specifically in Karachi, Pakistan. The study also discloses the steps taken by twitter to satisfy the demands and fulfill the requirement of users of twitter, which turned twitter into a successful social networking site. The technology has been engaged in a significant role of structuring globalization of the world all the way through internet. Since the use of internet has connected people from one end of the world to another, social networking sites came into existence to connect people and facilitate them in interacting with each other in an enhanced and healthier way. These social networking sites on the whole are a platform of web based or online networking service provider like Twitter. Twitter facilitate their users by serving various applications such as micro blogging, short tweets, direct and open tweets, sharing of information, gossips tweet, sharing of photographs and short videos. Twitter also smooth the progress of trace old friends, gather new friends from anywhere in the world, connects with celebrities and assemble new friends circle. In brief, offering people a range of services to put up social set of connections and establish relations with existing, old and new friend from anywhere. A new world has been created virtually in web world by these social networking sites like Twitter, to make communication and interaction of similar interest individuals and groups as easier and faster like never before. With an increase in fame and number of users of Twitter, Twitter Inc. reflects the attempt to make twitter a better service providing site by keeping the demands and facilities required by the user as priority. These satisfying applications and services may be a key to the continuously increasing success rate of Twitter. en_US
