Abstract:
Purpose- This study focuses on the stress arising out of work life imbalances and its impact on the employees’ wellbeing in the financial institutions and auditing firms. It shows behavior and seriousness of these types of organizations towards employee wellbeing and also the employees’ point of views and image for those organizations that support and corporate them in managing stress and maintaining work life balance to improve their wellbeing. The main purpose is to study the relationship between the stress arising out of work life imbalances and impact on employees wellbeing.
Methodology/sampIe-The sample size of 160 employees has been taken for this research. The respondents include the fresh employees, descriptive and inferential analysis of the data has been made by means of statistical method through the SPSS software. Tools like frequency tables and graphs are used for descriptive analysis of the individual variable and its implication
Findings-In this research the alternative hypothesis is accepted that the stress arising out of work life imbalance has negative impact on employee’s wellbeing. The reason behind it could be many for example we can say Pakistan culture where there is usually only one bread earner leads the family, high inflation rate and fewer job opportunities causes the employees to work on compromised salaries and benefits. Organization must have to invest on employee’s wellness program to retain and recruit the talented employees and for better productivity and commitments towards corporate goals and objective
Practical Implications-This research assist the human resource management and the higher level management for understanding the different impacts of stress arising out of work life imbalance on employee’s wellbeing and how the organizations scan cope up with these issues in effective manners.
