Abstract:
Mutual Funds Industry plays a vital role in the economic growth of any country.The
rapid development of emerging mutual funds industry has attracted the attention of
investors and policymakers. The thesis presented here focuses on number of issues. It
constructs more measures or criteria of liquidity, concentration, stock market,
volatility and institutional development.
The thesis has following objectives:
• To analyze the different categories of Funds in Mutual Funds Industry.
• How to escalate the Industry Fund size that ultimately played the vital role in the
economic growth of the country.
• Investment Proposals for the Investors either for Retail Investors or Corporate
Investors and differentiate the Funds categories as per the Investors risk appetite.
• Mutual Funds are one of the best way of Investments and Savings (not only for
short term but also for the long term)
• Mutual Funds Industry works under the strong Regulator (Securities & Exchange
Companies of Pakistan).
