Abstract:
The Company Law is mother law for the corporate sector in country, because other laws for example banking laws count upon this with respect to corporate regulations. It affects the overall performance of economy. It should be amicable with dynamics of Modern corporate setup and its needs. It should not only be compatible with the corporate setup but also be according to legal principles. Company law of country should be vigilantly drafted leaving no room for lacunas or
ambiguities. Analysis of repealed Companies Ordinance 1984 and newly promulgated
Companies Ordinance 2016 especially jurisdiction of Court related areas in both would enable to understand the positive and negative sides of both pieces of legislation.

Aims and Objectives of research
Aim of research is to analyze the Companies Ordinances 1984 and 2016 in order to fish out negative and positive sides, especially the provisions related to jurisdiction of court in both
legislations and to draw the valid conclusion.
Research Methodology
Qualitative Research will be based on comparative and critical analysis of Companies
Ordinances of 1984 and 2016 the analysis will act like yardstick to measure the positive and negative aspects in both, especially jurisdiction, by perusal of previous literature and available relevant data.
