dc.description.abstract | Usually the authors think’s that Competition Law and Intellectual property rights (IPRs) seem to operate in different domains having distinct objectives and applications. Thus, understanding the smooth operation of IPR law to competition law is the most challenging task, which needs immediate attention. Therefore, the main aim of paper is to understand the relationship between both laws. In addition to researchers intended to discuss the legal framework available in Pakistan with respect to these laws along with international framework. In last, after examining the available material paper will answer whether there is any wrangle between Intellectual Property Rights and Competition laws or not. Therefore, the present paper is an attempt to examine the interface between IPR and competition laws under international as well as national arena. A key issue in forming a relationship between both laws is that to which extent a third party may be authorized to use protected subject matter without the permission of IPR holder. | en_US |
