dc.description.abstract Applying International Humanitarian Law to Syria, we will establish in our project that non-international armed conflict exists there. Thereafter, the escalation of that non-international armed conflict to international armed conflict has been discussed. It has been established that, in the face of international armed conflict, violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law are taking place by the day in Syria. Thereafter, the liabilities incurred by the parties violating these laws are discussed, concluding with the effects of this transition of armed conflict in Syria from non-international armed conflict to international armed conflict. en_US
