IMPACT OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN WHAREHOUSE IN MOTOR CYCLE INDUSTRY OF KARACHI

Abstract

Purpose: This research is to find the relationship between Supply chain management in warehouse and profitability. This study is also to find the impact of warehouse supply chain management on profitability of firms. This research examines the supply chain management process in warehouse and it also includes the influence of supply chain process of warehouse on profitability changes of the firm. Methodology: This research is quantitative in nature so the data is collect from the depth questionnaire filled by the supply chain managers of the firms. The data is collected from the different firms located in Karachi. This study is about the motorcycle industry so that the questionnaire is distributed in more than 50 motorcycle companies and questionnaire filled by the supply chain managers of the firms. The data is analyzed by the discriminant analysis to find the impact of supply chain management process in warehouse on profitability. Findings: This study is all about to find the impact of supply chain management process in warehouse on profitability. Discriminant analysis is used to find the impact of supply chain management in warehouse on profitability. The results indicating that there is significant influence of supply chain management in warehouse on profitability.
