Abstract:
Purpose - The purpose of the study is to assess the significant Hazards and its impact on
employee’s performance in Engro polymer and chemicals. Management system is very important
for any organization and it has great impact on employee’s performance. Management system
needs to identify hazards at workplace because employees work hard when they feel safe.
Methodology/ sample- In this study the questionnaires filled by 200 respondents to collect the
data. Respondents belong to different age group and areas. For data analysis regression and
correlation tests were applied. Data collected from eight different departments.
Findings- Quantitative approach was used to analyze the data. Primary data was collected
through questionnaires, responded by Engro polymer and chemical employees. Most of the
employees agreed on that the safety measures were taken at their workplace. However, they also
feel risky and exposed to chemicals hazards at their work place. There was also lack of
communication between employees and management system.
Conclusion & recommendation— The study support that management system has great impact
on employee’s performance at Engro polymer and Chemicals. The results could be helpful for
the management to improve their strategies and align strategies to eliminate risky situation and
all kind of hazards at workplace. Employees will work more positively, when they feel happy
satisfied and safe at their workplace.
